Employee Relations Specialist Location: Grand Rapids, MI Compensation: $60,000 – $70,000 Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Join a multi-state organization that operates more than 300 locations. Responsibilities Key responsibilities include: Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations questions and concerns Review incoming employee relations cases and route them to the appropriate HR Business Partner or field leadership when necessary Manage the intake process for approximately 10-15 employee relations cases each day Independently investigate and resolve non-Title VII employee relations matters, including attendance, conduct, policy interpretation, and interpersonal workplace concerns Escalate more complex employee relations issues to the appropriate HR leadership Monitor open cases and proactively follow up to ensure timely resolution and closure Assist with overflow Title VII investigations when the Field HR Manager’s caseload requires additional support Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and HR best practices Qualifications Required: 1-3+ years of employee relations, HR investigations, or workplace case management experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered) Strong communication, interviewing, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism Preferred: Experience with Workday Experience using an employee relations or HR case management system Working knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and Title VII/EEO fundamentals SHRM-CP or PHR certification Employee relations experience within a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), retail, hospitality, or other high-volume, multi-location environment Employee Relations Specialist Employee Relations Specialist Employee Relations Specialist Employee Relations Specialist Employee Relations Specialist Employee Relations Specialist #INAUG2026 EB-1333143701 #J-18808-Ljbffr
