About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Accounting Officer to take on the role of senior accounting leader and strategic partner to the CFO. The successful candidate will be responsible for the global accounting and financial reporting function, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, and leading all activities related to audits, internal controls, and financial operations across multiple international regions. This executive will also be instrumental in supporting acquisitions, driving finance transformation, and developing a high-performing accounting team. Applicants for the Chief Accounting Officer position at the company must have a CPA certification, with an advanced degree being preferred. A minimum of 15 years' of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience is required, with a background in manufacturing, industrial, or product-based industries. The role demands a professional with a strong history in multinational financial reporting and consolidation, as well as a proven track record in executive-level positions such as CAO, VP of Accounting, or Corporate Controller. The ideal candidate will be adept at partnering with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, driving process improvements, and leading systems enhancements within the finance function.
