Job Title: Senior Brand Manager (Strategic Growth Leader) Location: Chicago, IL (Near East Garfield Park / Downtown) Salary Range: $141,500 - $176,900 + Performance Bonus Our client—a powerhouse in the global food industry known for some of the world’s most iconic household brands is undergoing a strategic transformation. They have retained us to find several high-caliber Senior Brand Managers to lead their business units into their next era of category dominance. This is not a "maintenance" role. You will be the architect of brand ambition, responsible for turning high-level strategy into tangible commercial success for massive market-share portfolios. The Mission As a Senior Brand Manager, you will serve as the strategic lead for a dedicated business segment. You will act as the bridge between consumer insights and operational execution, ensuring the brand’s voice is consistent and its growth is sustainable. Key Responsibilities Strategic Architecture: Driving long-term brand roadmaps and defining clear "where-to-play" frameworks. Portfolio Strategy: Leading innovation and renovation pipelines in collaboration with R&D and Insights to future-proof the business. Commercial Leadership: Managing P&L drivers and leveraging deep data analytics to steer business decisions and maximize ROI. Cross-Functional Influence: Navigating a complex matrix environment to align Sales, Finance, Operations, and Regional teams toward a unified vision. Brand Stewardship: Setting the gold standard for brand guidelines and ensuring excellence across all consumer touchpoints. Who You Are You are a strategic heavyweight who thrives in the balance between creative brand building and rigorous commercial analysis. You don't just follow a playbook; you write it. Requirements Experience: 8+ years of progressive marketing or brand management experience, with a heavy emphasis on the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector. Strategic Prowess: A proven track record of scaling large-scale brands and translating complex consumer data into actionable growth plans. Financial Acumen: Comfortable managing P&Ls and understanding the levers that drive bottom-line results. Leadership: Exceptional ability to lead by influence, driving clarity and alignment even when faced with ambiguity. Academic Background: A Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA is strongly preferred.
