Government Training Engineering – Manufacturing EngineerCompany: The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking Associate (Level 2) and Experienced (Level 3) Manufacturing Engineers to join the Government Training Engineering (GTE) Production Engineering team supporting Air Dominance programs in Hazelwood, MO and Oklahoma City, OK.In this role, you will be part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional engineering team responsible for transforming complex technical requirements into executable build plans and digital work instructions for advanced military training systems. These systems include:High-fidelity aircraft crew station simulatorsAircraft-representative maintenance trainersHigh-resolution visual systems and immersive technologiesComputing and customer facilities infrastructureAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in improving commonality, manufacturability, and efficiency across sub-assembly, final assembly, and installation activities. Your contributions to the production system will directly support the successful, on-time delivery of mission-critical training solutions to our customers.This is an exciting opportunity for engineers who are energized by solving complex production system challenges, working on cutting-edge flight simulation training technologies, and making a meaningful impact on systems that prepare operators and maintainers for mission success.Position Responsibilities:Create and maintain build plans, model based work instructions, and associated digital assets for manufacturing executionIdentify and mitigate manufacturing risksIntegrate advanced digital tools into production workflowsDefine and document Production System requirements and best practicesDrive continuous improvement initiatives across production systemsCollaborate closely with design engineering, manufacturing operations, tooling, quality, safety, and PLM/PDM teamsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement1+ years' experience in manufacturing engineering role1+ years' experience supporting cross-functional or cross organizational teams within engineering and/or test1+ years' experience in integration with PLM/MES in a make to stock or make to order environmentPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience ):3+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)Ability to perform engineering analysis of design for manufacturability, assembly, and product support requirementsBasic knowledge and hands-on experience with Boeing internal PDM systems (GOLDesp and Prime-R)Experience creating Model Based Instruction (MBIs) in Siemens Teamcenter VisualizationStrong analytical and critical thinking skills applied to manufacturing process improvements and technology integrationExposure to aerospace manufacturing standards and regulated environments
