Boeing Global Services is currently seeking an Associate Configuration Management Engineer to become part of the Visual Systems Group of our Government Training Engineering Team in Hazelwood, Mo.

As part of our team, you will be focused on configuration management ensuring engineering changes are documented and managed throughout the development life cycle. Configuration management involves using tools and processes for establishing consistency of a product's attributes throughout its life. You will be a part of an organization that provides industry leadership in in defense aviation training and capabilities, including custom software development, engineering and technical services, and a range of services to support training centers and pilot provisioning worldwide.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop the implementation of Configuration Management for Customer Deliverables.
• Support the definition and allocation of Configuration Management requirements for product hardware, software and engineering design data systems throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support development of media, Software product end items, and other baseline deliverables to the Customer.
• Act as liaison between Software Configuration Control Board and other functions as needed.
• Assist with plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control.
• Track and report data to monitor adherence to regulatory, configuration and contractual requirements; assists with audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements.
• Support certification plans (such as CMMI), integrated process architecture infrastructures, process models, product structure definitions and/or data requirements/data management processes.
• Act as Admin for various systems (network share access, repo access, documentation systems) for team.
• Act as a custodian for unclassified material.
• No Travel required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

This Hybrid position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options (Hazelwood, MO). This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
• 1+ years of experience in Configuration Management/Data Management.
• 1+ years of experience with engineering of large-scale systems and overall systems engineering disciplines.
• 1+ years of experience working with PC Hardware.
• Experience in software development, documentation creation/release and project management.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with Git and Git-Flow methodology.
• Experience with SVN and Subversion-Flow methodology.
• Experience working within Scaled Agile Framework or Agile Methodologies.
• 1+ years of experience with collaborative Confluence environment including JIRA.
• 1+ years of experience with training devices (i.e. any type of flight, mission or maintenance training devices).
• 1+ years of experience managing technical projects in engineering, technology, or construction.
• Experience with Python and Powershell code/scripting is a plus.
• Experience with large dataset (“big data”) management is a plus.
• Experience with both Windows and Linux command set is a plus.
• Experience with software configuration management tools such as ClearCase/ClearQuest.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard

Summary pay range: $73,950 - $100,050
