Position Overview

We are searching for a dedicated Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding radiology team, providing outstanding diagnostic imaging care. You will utilize advanced ultrasound technology to conduct a variety of diagnostic procedures, working alongside an encouraging group of medical professionals to enhance patient care and ensure their comfort through expert imaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations including, but not limited to, abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly explaining each stage with empathy
• Collaborate intimately with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the highest-quality diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, swiftly addressing any technical malfunctions
• Diligently document procedures and keep patient records updated within the electronic medical system
• Remain current with developments in sonography techniques and innovations

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• A CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed
