PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a well-known manufacturer for lock washers and specialty fasteners in Lexington, KY. We are hiring Assembly Operators in Lexington, KY. 1st shift 7:30am- 4:30 M-F Pay Rate is $15.00 an hr

Assembly Operator Summary:

1. Use of hand tools and follows part prints.
2. Labels cartons.
3. Moves final product.
4. Set-up piece count scales.
5. Lift/move boxes of parts.
6. Inspects parts, completes inspections records, and visually sort parts per customer requirements.
7. Complete machine production and relocation log sheets.
8. Use inspection tools such as thread gauge and plug gauge.
9. Assemble parts as required.
10. Complete production logs.

Assembly Operator Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
2. One year of prior manufacturing or other experience involving use or operation of equipment is required.
3. The ability to lift/move boxes of parts weighing up to 45-pounds, use manual lifts and operate floor jack to transport containers weighing up to 2,000 pounds is required.
4. Must have manual dexterity to work with small parts and be able to stand for extended periods of time.
5. Attention to detail.
6. The ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
7. Complete a skills test may be required
