Showroom Customer Service Representative

Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Showroom Customer Service Representative. As a Showroom Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for customers, assisting them with inquiries, and purchases, and resolving any issues or concerns they may have. This individual will play a crucial role in delivering a positive shopping experience and building long-term relationships with our customers. Description We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Showroom Customer Service Representative. As a Showroom Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for customers, assisting them with inquiries, and purchases, and resolving any issues or concerns they may have. This individual will play a crucial role in delivering a positive shopping experience and building long-term relationships with our customers. Primary Responsibilities Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone and assist them with product inquiries, pricing, and availability. Develop a deep understanding of our furniture products, including features, materials, and styles. Stay updated on product inventory, promotions, and sales events to provide accurate information to customers. Join a supportive team that works together to achieve individual goals and company expectations. In addition, you will partner with other members of your team to create an engaging customer experience. Utilize computer tools to validate credit terms and complete sales transactions. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Previous sales experience in retail, preferably in the furniture or home furnishings industry, is preferred but not required. Friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for helping others. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of furniture products and industry trends is a plus. Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office experience Cash handling and/or accounting experience a plus Physical Demands The employee will regularly be standing, walking and bending. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position working either AM or PM based on business needs Work Environment This position operates in a retail store environment.
