Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Interventional Cardiology

Join a renowned medical facility in Mechanicsville, Virginia, providing exceptional healthcare services. This position offers a chance to work in an inpatient setting at a facility with 250 beds and a dedicated team of interventional cardiologists. You'll play a crucial role in patient care, handling a variety of interventional cardiology procedures while collaborating with experienced colleagues.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform interventional cardiology procedures including balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasty, and percutaneous coronary interventions.
Manage patient care in an inpatient setting, including daily admissions and rounding duties.
Participate in on-call schedules for both weekday evenings and weekends.
Collaborate with fellow cardiologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Document patient encounters using EPIC EMR system.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology.
Minimum of 50 case logs for interventional cases filed within the last 12 months.
Demonstrated clean malpractice history.
Ability to provide a self-query NPDB report within 30 days of application.
Experience in handling adult and geriatric patients.

License and Certification Requirements:

Active Virginia state medical license.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
