Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $85,000 to $105,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities :- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Oversee and maintain the general ledger, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end and year-end close processes. Identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain effective internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns. Stay current with tax regulations and provide guidance on tax planning strategies.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts. Analyze budget variances and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- 4+ years of progressive experience in Public accounting and Auditing.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Oracle NetSuit) and MS Office Suite (Excel).
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail..
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
