Allied Technician - Respiratory Therapist

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - NICU

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with specialization in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work across various critical care areas, including Adult ICU, Emergency Department, and basic floor therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients in NICU and other critical care areas as required.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Perform assessments and implement appropriate therapies to maintain optimal respiratory function.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate records in accordance with facility policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Willing to accept first-time travelers.
• Ability to float within facility and scope of practice as needed.
• Successful completion of a clinical screening to ensure clinical fit before final manager decision.

Work Schedule

• Shift: Night - 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
• Weekend rotation: Every other weekend required.
• Call: None required.

Holidays

Travelers are expected to work at least one major holiday during their assignment period. If multiple major holidays fall within their commitment, additional work may be required. Major holidays include:

• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving/Black Friday
• Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
• New Year's Eve/New Year's Day

Compliance

Full compliance is required for a timely start date. Non-compliance may result in a two-week delay due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Additional Information

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. The number of non-billable orientation hours will be determined based on the length of the contract.
