Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor will oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves leading a team to meet production targets and maintain high standards of performance. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of production personnel, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing feedback. Ensure production schedules are met, proactively addressing any delays or issues that arise. Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications. Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization. Conduct performance reviews, provide training and development opportunities for team members. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., quality control, logistics, maintenance) to ensure smooth operations. Maintain accurate production records and generate reports on key performance indicators. Troubleshoot and resolve production-related problems and equipment malfunctions. Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods to support production needs. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration) preferred. 5+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or lead role. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a production team. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and safety regulations. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills. Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
