Civil Engineer – Land Development Site Design (0–2 Years Experience)
A growing civil engineering consulting firm in New Jersey is seeking a Civil Engineer with 0–2 years of experience to join its Land Development team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer looking to gain hands-on experience in site design, grading, drainage, utilities, and permitting for commercial, residential, and mixed-use development projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with land development and site design projects from concept through construction.
- Prepare site plans, grading plans, utility layouts, and stormwater management designs.
- Perform engineering calculations and assist with permit applications.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for design and drafting.
Requirements:
- BS in Civil Engineering.
- 0–2 years of land development or site design experience.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
- EIT certification or ability to obtain preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
