Position Summary The HR Generalist is a hands-on human resources professional responsible for supporting employee relations, onboarding, training, workers' compensation administration, and day-to-day HR operations for our Frackville and Orwigsburg facilities. This role partners closely with Operations to provide exceptional support to employees while helping foster a positive, compliant, and engaged workplace. Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and supervisors at the Frackville and Orwigsburg locations. Build strong working relationships with employees and operations leaders to support a positive workplace culture. Support employee relations by addressing concerns, gathering information, and partnering with the HR Manager on resolutions. Act as a mediator to resolve conflicts within teams or between individuals, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment. Provide guidance and support to managers in handling employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent resolutions. Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation. Deliver employee training and assist with ongoing learning and development initiatives. Administer and coordinate workers\' compensation claims and related documentation. Assist managers with employee communications, policy interpretation, and HR best practices. Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation. Utilize ADP and Microsoft Office applications to support HR processes and reporting. Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws. Support additional HR projects and initiatives as business needs evolve. This is an on-site position in Frackville, PA. Standard work hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. However, because our manufacturing operations run 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the HR Generalist must be flexible and willing to adjust their schedule periodically to interact with all shifts. This may include occasional early mornings or later evenings to meet with second-shift employees and supervisors. The HR team shares this responsibility, allowing everyone to maintain flexibility while ensuring employees across all shifts receive consistent support. What Success Looks Like During the first 3–12 months, a successful HR Generalist will: Develop strong, trusted relationships with employees and operations leadership. Effectively manage onboarding, training, employee relations, and workers\' compensation responsibilities. Demonstrate excellent time management, adaptability, and reliability while supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Qualifications Required Bilingual in English and Spanish. Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent HR experience. Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience with employee relations and onboarding. Experience using ADP or a comparable HRIS. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365. Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
