The Role: Supports Reporting Center of Excellence systems, tools, and processes used in corporate metrics monitoring and reporting accuracy while adhering to internal and external financial reporting and regulatory requirements. What You Will Do:
• Knowledgeable of corporate metrics and reports to manage, measure, and monitor global risk and performance with adherence to reporting requirements, policies and controls.
• Reports trends and researches significant changes with data/portfolio owners to validate and explain performance to ensure that global risk and performance are managed, measured, monitored, and properly reported.
• Manage the processes and procedures supporting the accuracy and timely communication of the corporate results. What You Have: Degree Requirement
Degree or equivalent experience desired Business Performance Management: Knowledge of technologies, techniques and practices for the use of business intelligence; ability to monitor and adjust business processes (internal and cross-organizational) in near real-time. Level Basic Understanding:
• Cites examples of measurements of business performance.
• Identifies organization's strengths and weaknesses.
• Describes key aspects and benefits of Business Performance Management (BPM.)
• Lists common types of resources tracked in a BPM environment. Operational Functions: Knowledge of major functional processes and associated operating requirements; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Level Basic Understanding:
• Identifies the primary operational functions of the organization.
• Explains operational functions and key functional roles of own dept or unit.
• Describes the interdependence of support functions and line operating functions.
• Clarifies the role of each department and its relevance to the enterprise strategy. Process Management: Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes. Level Working Knowledge:
• Employs process flows, cycle time, process time and waste concepts as appropriate.
• Walks through steps, decisions, measurements, dependencies and hand-offs for a specific process.
• Creates process flow or work flow diagrams.
