Scope of Project

The purpose of this engagement is to provide Data Architect Advanced (Job #1410) services to the Florida Department of Health (DOH) in support of the Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU). The resource will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and ongoing support of enterprise data dashboards and reporting solutions. The scope includes the delivery of end-to-end data architecture and analytics services, ensuring that dashboard solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct knowledge transfer of existing business processes and reporting workflows.
• Analyze and define optimal data workflows and architecture.
• Configure and manage Qlik data connections to multiple source systems (daily as required).
• Prepare and transform data into analytic-ready data models and tables.
• Develop Qlik scripting, data modeling, and wireframes.
• Design, develop, and test Qlik dashboards and applications.
• Build visualizations, layouts, and dashboard behavior/configurations.
• Perform testing (layout, functionality) and ensure quality delivery.
• Implement customization, UI/UX enhancements, and aesthetics.
• Apply security modeling and access controls.
• Manage application migration from development to production.
• Automate processes including data reload scheduling and refresh tasks.
• Integrate Qlik NPrinting for scheduled report distribution.
• Design and generate reports in PDF, MS Office, and HTML formats.
• Deploy applications and dashboards on a scheduled basis.
• Provide training, handoff, and documentation for end users.
• Mentor team members on Qlik Sense tools and best practices.
• Collaborate daily with stakeholders to standardize data collection and storage.

Required/Preferred Skills

• Minimum 6 years of experience configuring Qlik data connections to source systems in a State of Florida or Federal Government Agency.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and developing analytical dashboards.
• At least 2 years of experience working with Salesforce reporting and Qlik-based data dashboards.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in administration and maintenance of Qlik products, including:
  • Qlik GeoAnalytics
  • Qlik NPrinting
  • Qlik Web Connectors
  • Qlik Data Catalog
• Minimum 6 years of experience writing SQL queries, including both relational database queries and OLAP-based data analysis.
• Minimum 5 years of experience performing requirements analysis and developing ad‑hoc reports.
