ICU Registered Nurse

Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of critical care experience, including Epic proficiency. Candidates must have limited neuro experience at minimum. The role involves floating between the Surgical Critical Care Unit (SCU), Neuroscience Critical Care Unit (NCU), and Cardiovascular Critical Care Unit (CCU), as well as potential coverage in the Emergency Department for CC admits. The position requires willingness to float to various units, with no specific unit assignment.

Qualifications & Certifications:

• Navy scrubs required
• ACLS, BLS, CPI, & NIH certifications (CPI can be obtained at the facility for $100 if needed)
• Experience with ventilators, EVD management, ICP monitoring, lumbar drains, bolts/ICP O2 monitoring, and CRRT.
• Able to manage patients with neuro/stroke, vascular surgeries, multi-level back surgeries, and general CC patients.

Shift Details:

• Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)

Additional Requirements:

• Must handle fresh post-op craniotomies, vent settings, arterial lines, central lines, NIH evaluations, hemodialysis (managed by dialysis staff), and CRRT (managed by RN).
