The School of Professional Studies (SPS) at Albright College seeks a part-time Academic Program Coordinator to support student advising and academic operations. The position will primarily support graduate Education programs while assisting other SPS programs and initiatives as needed.

This position is anticipated to work approximately 15–20 hours per week, with scheduling based on student and program needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise and support students, primarily within graduate Education programs

• Assist with course scheduling and academic planning

• Support student recruitment, enrollment, and marketing initiatives

• Assist with course quality assurance, including reviewing courses for consistency, completeness, and readiness

• Support academic assessment, data collection, and reporting for institutional, accreditation, and regulatory requirements

• Coordinate with faculty, staff, and College offices to support students and academic operations

• Assist with additional SPS academic and operational needs as assigned

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; master’s degree in Education, Higher Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field preferred

• Experience in higher education, academic advising, student services, education, or a related area preferred, particularly in online or adult education

• Experience working with learning management systems (LMS), student information systems (SIS), and customer relationship management (CRM) platforms; experience with D2L Brightspace, Ellucian, and Slate is preferred

• Experience with instructional design, course quality assurance, academic assessment, and/or accreditation and regulatory reporting is a plus

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail, a commitment to student service, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
