Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist (Warehouse Associate)

Job Description

The Inventory Control Specialist supports accurate and efficient warehouse operations by managing inbound deliveries, maintaining precise inventory records in SAP, and performing regular cycle counts using warehouse equipment. This role combines hands-on work at rack heights of up to 40 feet with detailed data entry, spreadsheet updates, and coordination with operations and inventory teams to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and on time.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process inbound deliveries accurately and in a timely manner.
• Research and reconcile open purchase orders to resolve discrepancies.
• Help close out shipments when production runs are completed.
• Update spreadsheets and inventory records as needed to reflect current stock levels and movements.
• Coordinate daily activities with operations support and inventory control team members.
• Create replenishments as needed to fulfill customer orders and maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Perform regular bin checks and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
• Use warehouse equipment, including a cherry picker/order picker, to access and pull material from rack heights of up to approximately 40 feet.
• Operate powered industrial trucks with camera and laser level guidance from ground level to safely retrieve and place inventory.
• Conduct accurate data entry in the warehouse management system (WMS) within SAP.
• Apply advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, to manage and analyze inventory-related data.
• Support shipping and receiving activities as needed, including inventory control tasks tied to inbound and outbound shipments.
• Provide basic customer service support related to inventory availability and order fulfillment.
• Follow established processes and safety procedures while performing repetitive and detail-oriented tasks.
• Participate in ongoing training, including learning to operate high-reach equipment safely and effectively.

Essential Skills

• Previous experience with SAP, particularly within a warehouse management system (WMS) or inventory control environment.
• Inventory control and cycle counting experience in a warehouse setting.
• Hands-on experience with shipping and receiving processes.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate powered industrial trucks, including cherry picker/order picker equipment at rack heights of approximately 40 feet.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when performing monotonous or repetitive tasks.
• Advanced knowledge and application of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
• Experience with purchase ordering processes.
• Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records.
• Comfort working at heights and on elevated platforms.
• Strong coordination and communication skills to work effectively with operations and inventory teams.
• Proficiency with general Microsoft Office applications beyond Excel.

Shift:

First shift-Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manchester, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Manchester,PA.
