Mercury Electronics has a challenging opportunity available for a talented, enthusiastic and motivated Material Clerk, reporting directly to the Materials Manager. We are seeking an outgoing individual, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in our fast paced, dynamic environment. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Pull parts based on Bill of Materials with accuracy
• Receive shipped parts and put in designated locations
• Must be able to be trained to use a forklift
• Must use inhouse computer system for all inventory records
• Establish inventory records with all necessary data
• Maintain accuracy of inventory with regards to physical counts and monetary value

Qualifications/Requirements:

Candidate qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Highly organized, detail oriented and able to prioritize work
• A proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing at all levels of an organization
• High levels of basic math accuracy
• Experience with the following software is required:
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Databases and/or ERP systems
• Experience with the following preferred, but not required:
  • Manufacturing companies
  • Electrical or electronic components
  • Import/Export documentation and processes
  • ERP software migrations
  • filePro databases or Epicor ERP
  • ISO, LEAN and ITAR
  • Materials and Inventory systems
  • Forklift
• Candidates must have ability to occasionally work extended hours
