Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An immediate 13-week contract opportunity is available for experienced Pharmacy Technicians in a fast-paced mail order renal specialty pharmacy that fills approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. This role offers the possibility to transition into a temp-to-hire position, with permanent placement requiring valid PTCB certification.

Location: Nashville, TN
Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• ASAP start

Responsibilities:

• Perform customer service duties such as verifying shipping details, entering new patient information, and updating patient profiles in pharmacy software
• Fill and dispense medications accurately in the dispensing role
• Utilize the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system to manage prescription processing
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy protocols and quality standards

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy environment
• Familiarity with pharmacy order entry systems, preferably Wellsky
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a high-volume pharmacy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• PTCB certification required for temp-to-hire consideration
