TORQ Coatings is one of the fastest-growing concrete coating companies in the Midwest. We're looking for an energetic, customer-focused Inside Sales Representative who enjoys connecting with people, building relationships, and helping drive company growth.

As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you'll play a critical role in creating a positive customer experience while generating qualified appointments for our Outside Sales team. Position Summary

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for engaging prospective customers, qualifying leads, scheduling appointments, and maintaining ongoing communication throughout the sales process. This role combines relationship-building, outbound prospecting, CRM management, and customer service to help maximize sales opportunities and support company growth.

Success in this position comes from excellent communication, strong organizational skills, persistence, and a genuine passion for helping customers.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Management & Appointment Setting

• Contact prospective customers through phone, text, email, and other communication channels.
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads.
• Schedule appointments for the Outside Sales team.
• Re-engage dormant and previously contacted leads.
• Maintain a high level of daily outbound activity, including calls, texts, and emails.

Customer Experience

• Serve as the first impression of the TORQ brand.
• Build rapport and establish trust with prospective customers.
• Answer customer questions and provide information about TORQ's products and services.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout every interaction.
• Ensure customers receive timely follow-up and communication.

CRM & Sales Support

• Maintain accurate customer records within the CRM.
• Update lead status, notes, and appointment details.
• Monitor sales pipelines and follow-up opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with the Outside Sales team to maximize appointment quality and conversion.
• Assist with administrative sales support as needed.

Professional Development

• Participate in ongoing sales training and coaching.
• Develop product knowledge and consultative sales skills.
• Learn new technology, software platforms, and communication tools.
• Contribute ideas that improve sales processes and customer experience.

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging new customers.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to quickly learn CRM and sales software.

Preferred

• Previous inside sales, appointment setting, call center, or customer service experience.
• Experience using CRM platforms.
• Experience in home services, construction, or home improvement industries.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
