As a Senior Diffusion Equipment Engineer, with a strong focus on safety and quality, you will play a meaningful role in improving our manufacturing processes by focusing on the installation, maintenance, optimization, and development of our DIFI equipment. Your expertise will give to the production of high-quality semiconductor components that are pivotal to our customers' success. You will work closely with multi-functional teams to tackle equipment issues and implement solutions that improve efficiency and yield. Your passion for engineering and willingness to learn will help us overcome the challenges of this fast-paced industry. We are looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values collaboration, and is eager to dive deep into the technical aspects of semiconductor manufacturing. Responsibilities Installation and qualification of industry leading diffusion equipment in our new cleanroomDiffusion equipment performance, including data analysis, preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentationCollaborate with process engineers to identify and resolve equipment-related issues affecting productionUse project management methodology to complete projects that close hardware gaps around equipment deficienciesEstablish productive vendor relations to maintain supplier engagement and drive benchmark equipment performanceDevelop and implement Total Productive Maintenance strategiesMinimum Required Qualifications: 2+ years of industry experience working as Equipment Owner with DiffusionBS or Masters in the Engineering field, equivalent military experience or AAS with 5+yr industry experienceWillingness to travel internationally for onboarding and training purposesPreferred Qualifications: Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous approachStrong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentProficient in Data Science and Programming skillsSee more about Boise living How Micron engineers pave the way for semiconductors As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
