Shift: Day Shift – 3x12 Hours (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)

Compensation

• Weekly Pay Package: $1,500 – $1,700/week

Job Overview

Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Campus is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a high-acuity Level II Trauma Center assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adult critical care patients and pediatric intubated patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy care for adult and pediatric patients
• Manage ventilators and non-invasive ventilation systems
• Perform arterial blood gases (ABGs) and capillary blood gases
• Administer aerosol and oxygen therapies
• Assist with airway management and suctioning procedures
• Monitor and educate patients on respiratory care treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Schedule & Unit Details

• Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• 3x12 Schedule
• Every Other Weekend required
• Floating required within facility and sister campus as needed
• Orientation: 48 Hours

Requirements

Required:

• Active GA RRT License
• RRT Certification
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• PALS Certification
• Minimum 1 year recent RRT experience
• Trauma experience required
• Teaching hospital experience required

Preferred:

• NRP Certification
• Epic EMR experience
• Pulmonary function testing (Spirometry) experience
• Trauma Level II experience
