About the Position

Hi,

We are actively hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for one of our clients, in Columbus, GA. This role involves providing respiratory care services to adult critical care patients and pediatric intubated patients in a fast-paced acute care environment.

You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams while managing respiratory therapies, ventilator support, and critical care interventions.

Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Duration: 14 Weeks with possible extension
Shift: Day Shift – 3x12 Hours (06:30 AM – 07:00 PM)
Location: Columbus, GA 31901
Pay Range: Weekly ($1600 – $1850)

Responsibilities
• Manage non-invasive and mechanical ventilation support
• Perform arterial blood gas collection and interpretation
• Administer aerosol and oxygen therapies
• Provide care for adult critical care and pediatric intubated patients
• Perform airway management, extubation, tracheostomy care, and suctioning
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in trauma, stroke, and NICU settings
• Float within the facility and sister campus as needed

Pay Rate: Negotiable based on experience

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience
• Active Georgia RRT License
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Trauma experience required
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Epic experience preferred
