Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Douglasville, Georgia. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Managing Attorney on diverse legal matters, gaining valuable experience and mentorship. Duties Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts. Assist in case management and trial preparation. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties. Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations as needed. Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and legal solutions. Maintain organized and accurate case files and documentation. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the firm's practice areas. Contribute to the firm's business development and marketing efforts as appropriate. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Admission to the State Bar and in good standing. 2-5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in family law. Strong legal research and writing skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, ethics, and client service. Proficiency in legal technology and case management software is a plus. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the State Bar and in good standing. Skills Strong legal research and writing skills.
