Bedford, PA Job ID: R-2552644 Salary: $65,500 - $98,000 per year Regular/ Permanent What You’ll Do Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates). Implement the business plan for the area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, coordinating workloads, and ensuring associates complete required training to achieve facility goals. Manage daily administrative functions of the HR office, including benefits, hiring, transfers, terminations, and payroll; execute and refine recruiting and staffing initiatives; research and address employment‑related concerns for applicants, associates, and managers. Ensure compliance with company HR policies by reviewing and managing the accuracy, confidentiality, and maintenance of HR documents; assist in implementation of and compliance with HR systems applications; gather data for HR‑related issues. Maintain quality and safety standards in the area of responsibility by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures; monitor compliance, distribute, and maintain procedures and supporting documentation. Identify associate, customer, and or supplier concerns by listening and consulting with others to determine corrective action or make recommendations for resolution. Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, teaching, supporting, and modeling logistics and company policies and procedures; identify training and development needs; participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates and leaders. Manage and coordinate training (e.g., new‑hire orientation, CBL modules, web‑based training, virtual classroom for Distribution and or Transportation associates); identify training needs for hourly associates, drivers, and or managers; monitor completion of training curricula, present and facilitate courses, and ensure compliance with deadlines for multiple training activities. Coordinate job‑related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; support plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identify and communicate goals and objectives; build accountability and measure progress in achieving results; identify improvement opportunities and promote continuous learning. Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity; implement related action plans; support the Open Door Policy; provide direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field and at least 1 year of supervisory experience. Or bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field. Or 2 years of Walmart logistics management experience. Or 2 years of supervisory experience, including at least 1 year managing human resource processes. Or 1 year of Walmart Stores, Inc. Human Resources experience. Associate will be required to attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings). Preferred Qualifications Fluency in a language other than English (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) based on business and customer needs. Human Resources experience. Microsoft Office proficiency. Experience supervising associates. Experience in training and facilitation. Experience with Walmart logistics systems. Certifications: Professional HR (PHR) or Senior Professional HR (SPHR).
