Staff Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to launch a career in accounting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles acquired through their education and a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment. No prior accounting experience is required. About the Role The Staff Accountant will assist with various accounting tasks and support the accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities Assist with preparing and posting journal entries. Support month-end and year-end close activities. Perform bank and account reconciliations. Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Help prepare financial reports, schedules, and analysis. Review financial transactions for accuracy and completeness. Assist with internal and external audit requests. Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures. Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Required Skills Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Preferred Skills Internship experience in accounting, finance, or a business-related field. Exposure to accounting software or ERP systems through coursework or internships. Interest in pursuing a CPA designation. Salary up to $75K with competitive compensation and benefits package.
