Make a meaningful impact by supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a vibrant educational setting near Norwalk, CT. This full-time, contract opportunity runs the entire school year, offering a chance to work closely with a supportive team and eager young learners.
What We're Looking For:
- Current SLP licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience or strong interest in serving elementary-aged students
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaboration within interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to deliver therapy in both group and individual settings
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Adaptable, proactive, and committed to fostering student growth
What You’ll Do:
- Manage a diverse elementary caseload, providing direct speech and language therapy
- Develop, implement, and adjust Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote students’ communication success in school settings
- Support assessment and progress reporting throughout the school year
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Share insights and strategies with school teams to maximize student success
