Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist working directly in classroom settings within a unique and collaborative school program. This role starts ASAP and extends through June 11, 2027. Engage with students in an inclusive environment, making a lasting difference while honing your expertise in pediatric speech-language therapy.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Active SLP license or eligibility in the state of Connecticut
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status
- Pediatric and/or school-based experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for direct classroom engagement
- Commitment to collaborative, interdisciplinary practice
- SLPAs are not eligible for this role
Role Details & Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services within classrooms, integrating interventions into daily instruction
- Collaborate closely with teachers and staff to support students’ communication needs in real-time
- Develop and implement IEPs, participate in team meetings, and provide progress updates
- Offer services to a diverse student population with a variety of communication needs
- For CF candidates, receive comprehensive supervision and mentorship as you start your career
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with school and district policies
