Base pay range $55,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr Role Overview The CAD Detailer is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for stone products, including countertops, facades, flooring, and other architectural elements. This role involves collaborating with project managers, engineers, and production teams to ensure designs meet specifications, quality standards, and client expectations. The CAD Detailer will use CAD software to develop precise drawings that guide manufacturing and installation. Key Responsibilities Drawing Creation: Produce detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings for stone products, including shop, fabrication, and installation drawings. Develop layout drawings, cut sheets, and assembly drawings with accurate measurements and material specifications. Collaborate with project teams to understand requirements and design constraints. Create and modify drawings using CAD software. Maintain CAD libraries, templates, and standard details. Quality Assurance: Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and client needs. Review and check drawings for errors or inconsistencies. Documentation and Reporting: Organize and maintain records of drawings and specifications. Present drawing sets and revisions to teams and clients. Stay updated with CAD software advancements and industry trends. Participate in training to enhance skills. Qualifications Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or related fields. Experience: Proven CAD Detailer experience in stone manufacturing or related industry; proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling; experience with stone fabrication is a plus. Skills: Strong drafting skills, attention to detail, ability to interpret technical documents, good communication, teamwork, and time management skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain professionalism.
