You'll work alongside a tight-knit collections team within a company known for reliability, strong product availability, and exceptional customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesDelinquent account outreach — Contact customers with professionalism and courtesy to resolve outstanding balancesAccount documentation — Maintain accurate records of payments, statuses, and communication historyPayment tracking — Monitor commitments and ensure timely follow-throughCredit application review — Process applications and request additional information when neededCredit verification — Confirm references through outreach or reporting toolsCredit limit assessment — Evaluate payment behavior and recommend adjustmentsRisk escalation — Flag higher-risk accounts for management reviewAR monitoring — Review AR and cash reports to identify trendsTeam collaboration — Partner with collections and customer service teams to resolve issuesCustomer communication — Maintain strong, professional relationships through clear communicationSystem proficiency — Use Microsoft Office and internal tools to manage accounts and documentationRequirements3+ years in accounts receivable, credit, or collectionsStrong organization and the ability to manage multiple accountsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyProfessional phone presence and strong interpersonal skillsClear written and verbal communicationReliable follow-up and task managementSolid math skills for balances and credit calculationsAbility to stay calm and professional in challenging conversationsProficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systemsComfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentWork EnvironmentOur office is energetic, collaborative, and focused on delivering exceptional service.You'll work within a collections team of five to six people, partnering closely with customer service representatives to support the order and payment process.
