Logistics Coordinator, Dispatch, Road Transport

Dispatch drivers for U.S. Domestic shipment pick-ups and deliveries. Ensures compliance with DOT regulations and established internal policies and guidelines. Prioritize time sensitive cargo. Works closely with team members to meet or exceed all customer service requirements. Develops and maintains positive customer, contractor & company driver relationships. Works directly with customers on the receipt and processing of transportation requests. Utilizes various transportation software systems to facilitate material movement, planning and scheduling. Handles dispatch with contractors, company drivers and partner carriers. Tracks and traces shipments from pick-up through delivery to ensure accurate and up-to-date shipment information is being provided to customers. Ensures problem resolution; including identifying issues, applying critical thinking to determine the best course of action, and implementing solutions. Responsible for accurate data capture and system entry. Communicates effectively with customers, contractors, company drivers, partner carriers and team members. Promotes the DSV Road Transport brand. Assists with new account start-ups. Adheres to all domestic and international shipping regulations and compliance. Performs other duties and projects as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or GED required; logistics or transportation experience preferred. 1–3 years of experience in dispatch, logistics coordination, or a related operational role. Experience coordinating domestic shipments, dispatching drivers, and tracking freight through delivery. Familiarity with transportation systems or dispatch software and strong data entry skills. Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation compliance, or the ability to learn quickly. Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
