Identify market opportunities and sales potential within the industry and to establish/maintain business relationships with customers to achieve quarterly sales objectives in the assigned territory. This position encompasses all clinical, sales and territory management responsibilities of a given geographical area. Key Duties DUTIES Identify and pursue opportunities to develop new b usiness.Assist physicians with case planning to determine acceptable patient selection, device selection, and clinical support including diagnostic imaging analysis and pre-implant strategy of Aorti c cases.Liaison for customer (direct – physicians and indirect – business units and distributors) to Customer Service, Manufacturing and Quality Assurance, and Research and Dev elopmentInterface/correspond with physicians/clinicians and Terumo Aortic associates to address specific issues relating to stent-graft design specifi cations.Monitor/expedite turnaround time for patient specific stent-graft systems.Ensure quality system compliance for all departmental responsib ilities.Extensive Travel domestically and occasional travel interna tionallyTrain customers on the safe and efficacious use of the Company’s productsProvide technical explanation and demonstration of products to cu stomers.Consult with physicians and laboratory staff during i mplants.Represent Terumo Aortic Inc. during surgeries and implants of products to provide troubleshooting and other technical ass istance.May deliver on site training programs for customers or insti tutions.May assist in developing training ma terials.Will provide training and resources for hospital staff to enable them to conduct training for their personnel (\"train the t rainer") Authority and Limits UIREMENTS.Must work within requirements of company handbook and policy Maintain awareness of the relevance and importance of activities performed and how they contribute to the achievement of quality objectives Work within the QMS at all times, ensure accurate completion of records and highlight issues to immediate supervisor any issues affecti ng qualityResponsible to ensure facility, processes and documentation remain in a state of audit readiness at all times Take care of your own health and safety and that of ot hers who maybe affected by your actionsWork co-operatively to highlight issues affecting Environmental Healt Qualifications imultaneously.Ability to communicate effectively with sales and healthcare professional.Proficient with computer software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Po oblem solving.Ability to coach others on use of product and clinica l applicationsExcellent organiz ational skillsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experi ence required.Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in medical device sales calling on Aortic specialties such as vascular surgery, interventional radiology, cardiothoracic surgery, intervention al cardiology.Endovascular sales of $2.5MM and/or plan achievement in 3 con secutive yearsExperience in clinically supporting Aortic cases in an interventional lab and/or operating room setting.Proficiency in reading and interpreting CT, MRI, and Angio graphy images.Understanding on bringing new products through the supply chain of a hospital.Working knowledge of developing purchasing agreements, presenting new products to New Product Committees, and maintaining inve ntory control.Must be willing to continually learn about the Company’s products and related processes. Maintain current on industry related journals, articles, and periodicals.
