Trades Specialist – In the Field Location : Bay Area, San Francisco, San Jose, Oakland, CA What You’ll Do Achieve top-line sales targets based on division and local market goals by selling DEWALT, CRAFTSMAN, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, and PORTERCABLE brands to end‑user customers. Develop and maintain key relationships with end‑user partners, managing CORE and other SBD user contracts and programs. Teach and mentor local market teams on end‑user development, including trade associations, safety personnel, engineers, and purchasing personnel. Collaborate with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives. Use Salesforce.com as a CRM and planning tool, communicating successes and failures to streamline processes and drive future success with key accounts and opportunities. Who You Are Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field preferred; relevant construction field experience may substitute. 3+ years of sales or marketing experience for construction supplies with a proven track record of delivering results to high‑level executives or jobsite directors. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem‑solving, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills. Ability to combine empathy with determination to achieve outstanding results. Valid driver’s license and physical ability to travel up to 50% within the territory. Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). What You’ll Receive Competitive base salary with a total target cash compensation range of $100,800.00 – $162,300.00, inclusive of base and variable components.
