Supervisory Program Analyst

This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Departmental Audit Liaison (DAL) Division, Under Secretary for Management (USM). The primary purpose of this position is shaping DHS-wide audit liaison policy, influencing national security, and supporting executive-level decision‑making. Non‑BU: This is a non‑bargaining unit position. Specialized Experience Supervising subordinate staff, including assigning work, evaluating performance, providing guidance and supporting staff development and training. Organizing, planning, directing, and coordinating the work of the DAL Division to ensure effective audit liaison operations across all DHS Components. Reviewing and approving work products for quality and compliance with applicable policies and regulations. Providing recommendations and technical assistance to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and other management officials regarding program plans, priorities, resource allocation, and organizational changes related to audit liaison functions. Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level. All qualifications and eligibility requirements must be met by the closing date of the announcement. Time-In-Grade Current General Schedule (GS) federal employees, and those that have served in GS positions within the last 52 weeks, must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade, or a combination of the next lower grade level and an equivalent band in the federal service by the closing of this announcement.
