Job Details Job Location: Jose Castellanos - Los Angeles, CA 90007 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: Teaching Credential Salary Range: $40.00 - $40.00 Hourly Job Shift: 11-Months Role Overview Under the supervision of School Leadership, the Intervention Teacher uses innovative curriculum and teaching methodologies to establish a culture of educational excellence. The teacher works in a low‑income, multilingual area, demonstrating that public education can succeed. Co‑teaching and professional development are integral parts of the role. Essential Functions Prepare and implement lesson plans that lead to student support and mastery of curriculum content in the least restrictive environment. Adapt classroom work to provide students with instructional materials that address individualized learning plans. Administer developmental testing programs, subject‑specific assessments, etc., to assess student competency levels and develop individual learning plans. Regularly assess and analyze student progress toward academic goals. Participate regularly in professional development opportunities. Co‑plan lessons and co‑teach with general education teachers. Communicate frequently with students, families, colleagues, and other stakeholders. Maintain regular, punctual attendance. Other duties as assigned.
