HR Site Leader - Strother

Job Description Summary The HR Site Leader for Strother (Arkansas City, Kansas) is responsible for leading end-to-end HR support for approximately 650 employees. This role provides strategic and operational HR leadership across the full employee lifecycle, including employee relations, labor relations, talent management, leadership coaching and development, organization design, culture and employee engagement. The HR Site Leader partners closely with business leaders to align HR priorities with site and business objectives while supporting a positive, compliance and high-performing work environment. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Deliver HR solutions in the areas of talent management, culture and employee engagement, talent acquisition, people analytics, leadership development, workforce planning and labor/employee relations Build and maintain strong relationships with people leaders and employees to foster open communication, collaboration and trust Partner with the business to understand workforce needs and develop attraction strategies to that support business growth Understand industry and market dynamics and design and execute HR strategies focused on employee attraction, retention and development Leverage the HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to bring the right solutions and expertise to the business Monitor and problem-solve HR metrics by leveraging our FLIGHT DECK fundamentals to enable business priorities Lead, implement and support GE Aerospace HR initiatives as appropriate Serve as a coach and mentor within the broader HR community to support talent development and critical performance development activities within the HR function Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in related area or unrelated area with additional 4 years of HR experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources and/or relevant work experience - roles that involve the application of labor and employment principles, operational and business management. Desired Qualifications Master’s degree in human resources or labor relations from an accredited college or university 8+ years of experience as an HR generalist Understandingof HR concepts and principles with expertise in employee relations, leadership coaching and development, talent management and organizational design Strategic mindset with strong business acumen resulting in the ability to connect dots and develop / drive HR agenda with proactive thought leadership Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-pacedenvironment Appliessolid judgment ensuring integrity, compliance, &confidentiality Excellent collaboration, influencing, project management and organizational skills Ability to energize and lead in complex, matrixed, goal-driven organization Strong internal and external customer service focus, with a genuine desire to assist others Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement Sound knowledge of local labor laws and government requirements GE Aerospace offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
