Administrative Assistant About this position Job Description: Part-Time Administrative Assistant Location: Onsite – Herndon, VA Job Type: Part-Time (Approximately 20 Hours per Week / 4 Hours per Day) AttainX is seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations and executive administrative needs. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming office environment, maintaining office organization and supplies, supporting travel coordination, and assisting with a variety of administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, professional, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and customer service. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of administrative, office support, or customer service experience preferred. Organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with expense reporting and travel coordination preferred. Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently. Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and courteous manner. Ensure office supplies, snacks, beverages, and refreshments remain fully stocked and organized. Coordinate and maintain inventory of office and kitchen supplies; place orders as needed. Complete weekly credit card reconciliations and expense report processing with accuracy and timeliness. Schedule and coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, transportation, and itineraries for leadership and staff. Order business cards and assist with other office-related vendor requests. Support meeting coordination, scheduling, and calendar management as needed. Assist Executive Leadership with a variety of administrative and operational tasks. Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems. Support office organization and contribute to a positive and professional work environment. Perform additional administrative duties and special projects as assigned. Work Schedule Part-time position averaging approximately 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Schedule may be flexible based on business needs and candidate availability.
