Pharmacist - Floater

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret prescriptions for accuracy, drug interactions, and appropriateness of dosage.
• Provide professional consultation on prescription and over-the-counter medications, potential side effects, and chronic disease management.
• Administer vaccines (Flu, COVID-19, Shingles, etc.) and maintain accurate immunization records in accordance with state laws.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns, ensuring a productive workflow and adherence to company policies.
• Maintain strict compliance with DEA, FDA, and State Board of Pharmacy regulations, including the management of controlled substances.
• Resolve insurance adjudication issues and provide a "patient-first" experience that aligns with our grocery store's brand values.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing for the State of Ohio.
• immunization Certification and valid CPR/BLS Certification
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking in a high volume environment, and excellent verbal communications skills.
• Able to work an average of 24 hours per week.

Preferred Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems (e.g., Pioneer RX).
• Experience with Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
• Immunization Certification and valid CPR/BLS Certification

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods (8–12 hours).
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
