Description What You'll Do

• Conduct a variety of routine and specialized laboratory testsspanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyondwhile adhering to established protocols.
• Scrutinize results for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and uphold equipment maintenance through calibration and preventative practices.
• Assist in specimen collection and meticulously prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new team members or interns, and contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Uphold a clean and safe working environment while ensuring adherence to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification is required throughout your tenure.
