Description

• Assess and evaluate patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments, crafting personalized treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and functional capability
• Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
• Educate both patients and families on therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and home exercise regimens
• Maintain records of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in compliance with facility and regulatory policies
• Participate actively in care team meetings and interdisciplinary conferences to ensure cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from a recognized program

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Preferred: current CPR certification
• Specializations such as neurological or geriatric certifications are an added advantage but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience is highly preferred
• Capability to treat patients managing complex medical and mobility needs
