Description

• Conduct evaluations of patients in an inpatient or outpatient framework, developing tailored treatment plans
• Implement effective physical therapy interventions that enhance mobility, strength, balance, and functionality
• Engage collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to maximize patient outcomes
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and exercises
• Document patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress as per organizational and regulatory standards
• Take part in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from a recognized program

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Preferred CPR certification
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory
