Work Environment

This full-time position is based in our state-of-the-art outpatient office located in Tallahassee, Florida. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to meet the needs of our patients. Our team-oriented environment fosters collaboration among healthcare professionals, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans focused on improving mobility, strength, and functionality.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and stretches, ensuring proper technique to promote physical well-being and pain relief.
• Educate patients on correct body mechanics, exercise techniques, and home exercise regimens to facilitate ongoing recovery.
• Administer therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy under supervision.
• Monitor and document patient progress, including tracking range of motion, strength gains, and functional improvements.
• Prepare treatment areas and maintain organized equipment and supplies for efficient therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive patient care and enhance overall treatment outcomes.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients, creating a positive and motivating environment throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Adhere to ethical standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and ensuring the dignity and rights of all patients are respected.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a broad demographic of patients, including individuals recovering from surgery, managing chronic illnesses, and dealing with acute conditions. Our Physical Therapist will work with diverse age groups from pediatric to geriatric populations, each presenting unique rehabilitation needs and goals. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Demonstrated knowledge of physical therapy evaluation techniques, treatment modalities, and therapeutic exercises.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of experience in a clinical setting, ideally in outpatient rehabilitation.
• Experience with diverse rehabilitation programs including sports, orthopedic, and geriatric rehabilitation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits
