Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Assessing and identifying each patient's unique goals and rehabilitation needs through comprehensive evaluations.
• Managing a consistent caseload, focusing on one patient per hour to deliver personalized care and attention.
• Designing and implementing tailored treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise protocols, and functional training.
• Educating patients about their conditions and involving them in their treatment process to foster motivation and ensure adherence.
• Utilizing advanced EMR software, such as WebPT, for accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Monitoring patient improvements, analyzing treatment effectiveness, and adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal results.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive approach to rehabilitation that addresses physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors.
• Encouraging healthier choices by promoting strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through ongoing education and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintaining clear and thorough records of all patient interactions and treatments provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a diverse range of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Understanding the unique circumstances of each individual will be essential for crafting effective treatment regimens. The ability to motivate and inspire patients, particularly those recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, or age-related mobility issues, will be a critical aspect of your role.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or higher degree in Physical Therapy, with a strong foundation in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Current, valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Proven track record of maintaining a clean professional record with no disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques, as well as the development and implementation of exercise protocols.
• Strong knowledge of EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to the salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
