In this full-time, onsite role, you will play a key role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients suffering from a range of orthopedic conditions. Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility is designed with both our staff and patients in mind, creating a welcoming and fully equipped environment. As a team member, you'll collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, ensuring that our treatment plans are comprehensive and effective. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work schedule that promotes a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical therapy assessments to evaluate patient mobility, strength, and range of motion, which will inform your treatment plans.
• Develop and implement customized rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient's specific needs, utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure optimal recovery.
• Utilize therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training designed to facilitate healing and improve physical function.
• Administer various modalities, including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and cryotherapy, to support recovery and enhance treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, effective home exercise programs, and self-management strategies to foster long-term health.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of treatment plans and patient progress in line with clinic protocols, contributing to a seamless continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist will involve working with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, athletes rehabilitating from sports injuries, and older adults managing age-related musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

• A valid and active Physical Therapist license in Florida, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy; further education (DPT or Master's degree) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of evidence-based physiotherapy practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively build relationships with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient clinic or sports rehabilitation setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
