Thriving Journey Therapy, PLLC is on the lookout for an experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated rehabilitation team in Tallahassee, Florida. In this full-time, onsite role, you will leverage your expertise in physical therapy to enhance the quality of life for our clients, ensuring they achieve optimal functional outcomes through tailored treatment plans.

Work Environment

The position is based at our modern rehabilitation center located in Tallahassee, Florida. This facility is designed to foster collaboration and support among our team members, allowing for efficient patient care and professional growth. The environment is equipped with state-of-the-art physical therapy technology and resources, including advanced therapeutic equipment and private treatment rooms for patient confidentiality. As part of our full-time team, you will enjoy a structured work schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans to prevent disability and relieve pain following comprehensive patient assessments.
• Conducting detailed evaluations of patients' functional abilities using diagnostic assessments that measure muscle, nerve, joint function, and overall physical capabilities.
• Administering manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises, while also instructing patients in non-manual exercises tailored to their rehabilitation needs.
• Utilizing various physical agents, such as traction, massage, and ultrasound therapy, to assist in pain relief and recovery.
• Evaluating, fitting, and making recommendations regarding the use of prosthetic and orthotic devices to enhance patient mobility and independence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and age-related musculoskeletal conditions. Your role will involve assessing and addressing their unique requirements, empowering them to restore their strength and functionality effectively. With a focus on proactive health management, you will also guide patients in preventive strategies to reduce the risk of re-injury.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy, specifically in orthopedic, geriatric, acute care, or outpatient settings.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with proficiency in advanced orthopedic assessment techniques, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and experience with electronic medical record systems will be highly regarded. Strong communication and organizational skills, along with an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, are essential to providing effective patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, with additional bonuses based on performance. Our benefits include:
