Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite as part of our home care facility, allowing you to work directly with patients within their home settings. You'll collaborate with a close-knit team comprised of fellow Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and a variety of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop tailored treatment plans focused on mobility enhancement, pain relief, and functional improvement.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities, such as therapeutic exercises, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and manual therapy, to guide patients through their rehabilitation process.
• Educate patients and their families on exercise programs, proper body mechanics, and self-care strategies that promote recovery and long-term health maintenance.
• Monitor patient progress diligently, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary, and maintain precise documentation of outcomes for each therapy session.
• Engage in ongoing communication with an interdisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care and coherent treatment strategies.
• Provide emotional support and motivation to patients, fostering a positive and empowering rehabilitation experience.
• Uphold high ethical and professional standards, maintaining confidentiality and advocating for patient rights throughout the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will cater to a wide array of patients, including elderly individuals seeking relief from chronic pain, athletes recovering from sports injuries, and children overcoming developmental challenges. Understanding diverse patient backgrounds and needs will enable you to customize therapy approaches effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid and active Florida state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and their families.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing patient situations.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience is highly desirable, although recent graduates with relevant internships or practicums are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for effective patient management and documentation.
• Experience in home care settings or outpatient rehabilitation is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
