The work setting for this role is our onsite rehabilitation center located in the heart of Tallahassee, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' goals and requirements, and develop individualized treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a caseload effectively, typically seeing one patient per hour, allowing for focused, quality interventions that promote healing.
• Utilize relevant experience in orthopedic outpatient procedures to provide cost-effective treatment modalities that enhance patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Reduce reliance on pain medications by offering alternative therapeutic solutions and exploring non-invasive treatment options.
• Design and implement exercise protocols tailored to the specific rehabilitation needs of each patient.
• Deliver high-quality, personalized care by employing evidence-based interventions to maximize treatment effectiveness.
• Motivate patients throughout their therapy sessions to encourage consistent engagement and adherence to treatment.
• Promote healthy lifestyles by enhancing physical capabilities, including strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for patients.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes, document patient progress meticulously, and maintain clear communication with patients and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions that impair mobility. Our diverse clientele ranges from athletes requiring rehabilitation after injuries to elderly patients dealing with mobility challenges. Your day-to-day interactions will focus on understanding the multifaceted needs of these individuals and tailoring treatments that address both physical and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate (DPT) is preferred.
• A current, valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no history of board disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques that encourage patient recovery.
• Exemplary skills in developing and executing exercise protocols specific to a variety of orthopedic needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records, particularly WebPT, is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to deliver patient-centered care that inspires trust and engagement.
• Competence in evaluating and tracking progress through evidence-based metrics.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
