George Fox University announces a part-time, adjunct biology instructor position to begin in August of 2026. This instructor needs to bring expertise in Human Anatomy & Physiology.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Teaching laboratory and/or lecture sections of Human Anatomy & Physiology I and II.
• Collaborate with Biology and Chemistry faculty members within the department.
• Teach courses in alignment with the university's mission and learning objectives.
• Develop and implement effective instructional strategies that promote student engagement.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback on student work.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance.
• Utilize the university's learning management system (Canvas) for course management.
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to university policies.
• Communicating effectively and courteously with others, including employees, students, and the public, in a spirit of teamwork, respect and customer service.
• By actions, words, and lifestyle, be a Christian role model to students, whether through casual contact or in a formal supervisory role.
• Demonstrated experience working cross culturally with respect, appreciation and humility.
• Other duties as assigned.

We're looking for candidates who have:

• Professional experience or teaching experience in the relevant field.
• Demonstrated expertise in subject matter and commitment to student learning.
• Excellent professional interpersonal, organization, and communication skills.

Preference Will be Given to Those Who Have the Following Attributes:

• A Master's degree, Ph.D., or other professional degree or certification.

• Compensation: Adjunct faculty are paid on a per credit hour basis, commensurate with education and experience.
